Refugee Week 2026 invites us to celebrate the theme of “Courage” and recognise the strength, resilience, and contributions of people seeking sanctuary in Brighton & Hove. Throughout the week, communities, organisations, and residents will come together to share stories, food, culture, creativity, and connection—celebrating the many ways courage is shown in everyday life and helping to build a more welcoming city for all.

Below is a list of Refugee Week 2026 events and activities taking place across Brighton & Hove, organised by local communities, organisations, and partners. From shared meals and creative workshops to films, performances, sports, and community gatherings, there are many ways to take part, connect, and celebrate together. Everyone is welcome.
