Art, Refuge and Resistance
23rd October – 14th November, Grand Parade Café Gallery, University of Brighton
Featuring works by Syrian artist Wissam Al-Jazairy, the UNHCR Jordan Syrian Refugee Camps project directed by Hannah Rose Thomas, Calais photography by Chiara Lauvergnac, the Re-Making Picasso’s Guernica Collective and new participatory art from the Hummingbird Project, coordinated by Elaine Ortiz.
The exhibition will launch with an open forum event:
